A total body workout

You don't need to be a gym member, or have fancy equipment to get fit, lose some weight, and gain some muscle. Heck you don't need any extra equipment whatsoever. All you need is YOU. Just your body. Here are some great moves that you can do at home sans equipment that will give you a total body workout.

1. Push-ups
Hands can be placed shoulder width apart or for more difficulty, outside of shoulder width. You can start in the modified position on your knees, but just remember to keep your abs and buns tight and you back straight. Remember to never lock your arms as you extend. In normal push-up position, for an added challenge, slow down lowering yourself to the ground and then coming back up into plank. You should feel it through out your entire body.

2. Body weight split squat
Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, a few feet in front of a chair (or a low table). Kick one leg back and rest the toes of that foot on the chair. Drop your knee towards the floor by bending the front leg. hold for about 2-3 seconds before returning to starting position. Do 12-20 reps  before switching legs.

3. T-roll push-up (can be done instead of doing regular push-ups)
Begin in push-up position. Lower your chest to the ground. As you straighten your arms to push yourself back up, roll into a side plank and raise your superior (stronger) arm toward the ceiling. Hold for 2 seconds. Don't allow your hips to sag to the floor. Return hands to floor before rolling to the other side and doing the same. That's one. Do 12-20 reps.

4. One-legged overhead good morning
Stand with feet hip width apart, keeping knees unlocked, extending arms straight overhead. Bend at your hips while lifting one leg behind you. Keep toe pointed to the floor. Your lifted leg, torso and arms should form a straight line. Don't let your arms drop. Hold 1-2 seconds then return to start. complete 12-20 reps on each side.

~Perform 2-3 sets of each exercise with 60 seconds of rest between sets.
~Can also be done as a circuit: do one set of each without breaks, resting 60 seconds after last move. Repeat 2-3 times.

That's it! 3 or 4 moves to a tighter body. Get to it! :)

I haven't done this in awhile so let's get this started already...

1. Did you have sex today?
Why yes, yes I did. Its a great way to wake up and start your day. I highly recommend it.

Yup! This morning :)

I've received sexy texts before but nothing that would get me off

A LONG TIME.  Months...I was with this guy that just never appreciated them.

At our old house back in Louisiana, on our pool deck. Wood is not sex-friendly.

Oh god ya. I have to basically eat my lip or suck on the hubster's fingers (which I found out he absolutely loves)

Oh I totally loving having the control. The look on my hubs face is awesome!

I have to be in one of those moods. Not an all the time sort of thing.

No.

It's in the 'do :)

I know what you're thinking...damn this bitch said she was cutting her hair Friday so where's the pic? What style/cut did she choose? Well here ya go...
I kind of went with my own "style."
~ 4 inches off the length
~ re-layered
~ shortened the bangs
I wanted to style my hair before I took a picture to post, but lets face it. I'm lazy right now. Still deciding what color I want to dye my hair. Its dark brown right now, but I'm thinking of going maybe red-brown. Or doing some red chunks throughout.
Ok so seriously...do I look more Asian now? I kinda think so. Even though my best friend (who reads this blog by the way, so that's why I'm mentioning it) says it makes me look Hispanic. Which I get more often now since moving to Texas. Ya. I have nothing against it, its just that I'm NOT and its frustrating when people assume I am.
But here I am in all my new hair-do goodness. Hope y'all like it. And if you don't, TOUGH! Cuz I didn't do it for you.

Time for a new 'do

I need a change. A hair change that is. About a month ago I finally cut some bangs and got my LONG hair re-layered. I've always had long hair and I really have no want to actually cut any more than 4 inches off the length. I just want something different. Something fab, but easy to maintain. So here is what I was thinking...

 Long enough. Super soft and sexy. I could rock this. In fact...I WANT to rock this. Dude even the color. (haha I have DARK BROWN hair lol...but I HAVE been blond before)
And there's this one...

 AND OH EM GEE this one! Very rock star. I think I'm leaning more towards a style like this. Edgy. Yes. I like edgy. I AM edgy lol.

Friday is the day folks. The day. So I shall continue to look since I only have a couple more days. And come Friday, I'll introduce you to the new me :)

This is gonna be a sexy month! (day 1 & 2)

So one of my fave bloggers Mimi from Irresistible Icing has created one of the most FAB things...a CALENDAR! Now this is not just some ordinary calendar. It is 31 Days to become a more irresistible YOU and ME.
So I totally forgot I printed out the calendar, so I have some days to make up. But I figured I could just start on January 1 and maybe double up until I get caught up. So all month I'll post about whatever is listed on that day.

So for both the 1st and the 2nd it says: Create goals for the New Year, how will you become more irresistible?
In 2010 I turned the big 3-0. I vowed I would make my thirties the most gorgeous and sexiest 10 years of my life. My goal for this year is to make each day sexy and gorgeous. Whether it be some new make-up or a cool "toy" or even a new CD. One day at a time. Even a nice long hot bubble bath. I mean holy hell...I think I was still in preschool the last time I actually had a nice bubble bath LOL. OMG how I need to get my nails done again!

So...ya...

If you read my other blog you know that I've been without a computer AND internet since Monday night. Well if you don't read my other blog, then duh I just told you.
I re-added the "FOLLOW" button onto my blog, though I have no idea how or when it was deleted...so FOLLOW me bitches! And tell your friends! Seriously...tell your friends :)
So I missed out on Make-up Monday with Steph and didn't get to link up (BOOOOO). I did love reading about everyone's fave products. So here are mine...in no particualr order...

I haven't been using this for very long but I love it. I wash my face with this EVERY morning. It leaves a nice cooling tingle on your skin too. And chamomile is recommended for tension. Just a nice thing to do for your face.

Ah yes. Like Napoleon Dynamite, I too need my chap stick. Especially now with the weather being all cold and windy and ish. I keep one in my purse, one in my makeup bag (in my purse), one on my desk at work, one in my car, one one my night stand, and one on the bathroom counter. Obsessed much?! YES! I wear it year round because its contains SPF too. And if I'm lazy, I put on some lip liner, put on some chap stick and use a lip brush to "blend" the lip liner. Awesome. Perfect color...just right :)

Now I don't have this exact MAC retractable lip brush. I actually have the 117 which they do not make anymore. The above is the 318. LOVE this brush!!!

Since I'm just began my love affair with make-up again, you can bet I'll definitely be adding to my list of faves :)
